Little by little the the garden is being built. ML & I planting something almost every weekend. Most Saturdays when we are in the city, we take the downtown train to the farmers market in Union Square 14th Street. We buy some plants mostly flowers, and bring back home. We stay out in the garden till dawn or sometimes event past that since we have lights. The lights are from target store in Los Angeles. ML bought them the last time he was in LA visiting his buddy KH. This year we got to enjoy the garden more so then last. Last year we moved to the new place in September and was too late to plant anything. Since we started to plant stuff early spring, we got to enjoy the result. We need to plant more plants. And plant some seeds as well. I am thinking, Sunflowers and Snapdragons. I am very eager to get some bamboo plants for the back part of the garden. ML & I need to go to a store in queens for that. Recently we put in some fishes in the little garden pool. We added some gold fishes, in case mosquito's lay eggs on the water the fishes will eat them up and we won't have to worry about breeding mosquito's. In the pond I put in some submerged plants to keep the fishes company. Plus a battery operated air pump which we turn on during the day and shut it off at night. Sometimes in the future ML wants to collect a box turtle from out in the wilderness and have it as a pet. At the pet store they ware over priced.
I also planted some plants toward the front of the building. It's a nice welcome when you arrive home and the little ivy's & flowers welcomes you with a smile. I am more attached to the plants that i grow from seedlings. Some weekends we are away, and when we come back, we noticed the difference. They look much taller then 2 or 3 days later and I am happy to see them a little bigger. I feel like they are my little childrens. I need to water them often and nurture them and watch them grow little by little just as little baby's, only my little baby plants grows faster.
